Typically applications for ISDN lines include:

ISDN 2: On-Demand Connectivity for Small Offices
An ISDN 2 circuit provides 2 x 64Kbps of bandwidth and multiple circuits can be utilised at the same location.

ISDN 30: Increased Connectivity
Traditionally used for connection of a telephone system to the public telephone network or high bandwidth data networking requirements, ISDN 30 provides, as its name suggest, 30 x 64Kbps of connectivity.
Ideal for Resilience and Redundancy
ISDN circuits are ideal for providing ‘on-demand’ backup and resilience functionality. When paired with a broadband or leased line the ISDN circuit can be used to provide, cost effective connectivity in the event of a loss of service of the primary line.
